I gave it one star for the pre-made pastries. Otherwise it's a ZERO. Every food item is frozen and they just reheat it... You can tell. This is just a franchise. The coffee is overpriced and yucky. The owner is this little French man that yells at his employees in French regularly. I used to come here all the time because it was convenient but I really got sick of the owner throwing temper tantrums like a child. This place could be a good fast food French restaurant if it weren't for the owner's behavior. If you do go, get one of the tarts or chocolate desserts because they're always freshest.

I have been searching for a great French bakery/cafe in South Florida for years. I think my search is over. I loved the ambiance of this cafe. The outside seating is a plus. Eating outside on a gorgeous sunny afternoon makes everything taste better! We ordered the Chicken Avocado sandwich on a baguette. It was good but it definitely needed either more pesto or some mayo and/or dijon, both of which I added to the sandwich to suit my taste. We also ordered the Salmon Mixed Greens with Smoked Salmon, Brie, Red Bell Peppers, Cantaloupe, Tomatoes. It was good. There was a lot of smoked salmon. I wish I had ordered the salmon eggs benedict which is what I intended on ordering but didn't see it on the menu (on the board behind the counter). The latte was good and the French Breakfast was a good value since it included coffee. We had every intention of trying a pastry but were too full after lunch to consider it. Next time we will make a special trip to sample their delicious looking desserts which, I was told, are baked in a central location and delivered to their various locations throughout South Florida.

Authentic French bakery. So authentic in fact, the prices appear to include import duties. Lol Will return!

I guess this is a "chain" restaurant, not a small locally owned place as I was hoping. Overall the food was good, a little pricey, and they have great coffee. You order at the counter and get a number to set on your table while waiting for your food.

One star : on a sunday morning i woke up early to try their CROISSANT : they seem to be from the day before!!! Wtf ??? People who wake up early on sunday morning deserve at least fresh CROISSANT. In my France, it will be a shame. I also bought a french baguette and it s a 4/10.

My new favorite lunch/brunch place! I have been here twice now and I really enjoyed it. The service is fast even when they are full. I've had the breakfast wrap, Prosciutto Pesto sandwich, asian chicken salad, and a mini Fraisier. Not all at once! I enjoyed everything. My friends and family also enjoy it. I will be trying some macaroons and the french toast soon.
I like how this place is on the corner of the plaza and easy to spot. The inside is clean and orderly. They have various desserts to choose from to the point where you might have to flip a coin to decide what you should get. The sandwiches are simple, but tasty and satisfying. It's a generous portion and may be too much, but they only do whole sandwiches unfortunately not half. But overall service was good and helpful. I'm going to come back and try each dessert.

The Benedict is perfect and plenty of sauce I even got a delicious crusant and cleaned up all the sauce, blue berry pancakes were some of the best I've tried! The crusant egg sandwich was also very delicious, I'm a local and I've tried many breakfast joints and this is one of the best! I was not disappointed! Very nice selection of food and the macaroons were also great!! My daughter dropped here's on the floor and they gave her some more! Very nice attentive workers! The place is new and clean and makes you want to come back!!

Place is cold as cold can be, half the menu is missing (someone must of forgotten to go to Costco) Indoor seating is as good as to go. No extra perks. No fresh water, no little extras with your sandwich. It was a mistake to come here but I'm glad to know I will not be returning! This place is as French as a Cuban sandwich! Best thing here was the espresso!

I'm just getting to know this area after moving up here a couple weeks ago. This spot just happens to be within walking distance of my place which is nice. There aren't many spots that serve late breakfast here so I was happy to know that I could get some French toast and eggs after 1pm here. I thought this place was a Panera from the outside due to the green awnings but I'm glad it's not. It's a causal place with a nice selection of the popular French deserts, coffee, breads and plates. I have my eye on those berry tarts and macaroons ... Along with some other tempting treats. I've tried the quiche Loraine here which was very yummy. There personal size which means more flakey crust! The French toast was also good... Very eggy just how I like it. Hubs had the breakfast wrap with egg and Brie. This was just ok for me. Another downer for me was the croissant... I'm a big fan but this missed the mark for me. :( Service was good and was pleased they have covered outside seating. Even though it was a hot day I was comfortable. I'll definitely be back to try some of those delicious looking desserts, baguettes and their salads... Which look awesome.

I was in Paris last summer, and really got hooked on baguettes and cheese for dinner. Returning home, the only baguettes I knew of were from Publix, and they obviously aren't the same. Did a search and found La Provence. According to the website, the owner/founder agreed that it was too hard to find french breads in SoFla, so he moved from France to do it for us, and I thank him. There used to be a Paul bakery around Biscayne and 155th, but it closed years ago and the prices were probably twice as high. For $2 ($2.50 for sourdough), La Provence is priced right, and I'll be a repeat customer. My review is for take-out, but it looks like a popular place for brunch also. I'm not much of a breakfast-person, so I'll leave that to others.

The macaroons weren't the best around, but other than that the food and the service was great !
I love this place. It reminds me of the little cafe's in Paris (inside). The breakfast are delicious. I would recommend the pancakes and yes you have to try their crossiants. As you go to the counter the display of their other sweets will bring a Diabetic to his knees.

Service was incredible rude. I was taking a class next to this restaurant. While on my lunch break I wanted to do a little studying. It was basically empty. I sat outside and took my books out. I wasn't ready to order right away, the "manager" came out and told us that in order to order food I have to go inside. I had already gone inside to grab a menu, so clearly my intent was to order food. So I went to get a coffee, they gave it to me in a to go cup. Was this a hint? The manager kept pacing back and forth next to my table. I was so put off from the obvious attitude about me wanting to sit there and read my book that I didn't even want to order anything else. Not that the food look that great to begin with. I'm never coming back to this place again.

This La Provence is bigger than the other locations I've been to. And they have a lot more outdoor seating area. It was a beautiful breezy Sunday morning, so the day was perfect for sitting outside. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with Salmon and the French Toast. Of course, we had to have our lattes, too. The food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The only thing I missed was that they had run out of the Raspberry Beignets, which are simply delish. I'll be back soon.

It's too bad I can't leave zero stars. This place is the worst. First of all, all the food looks soggy and low quality. But the worst thing of all is the manager here. He has no idea about customer service. He basically gave us the rudest customer service ever, and he needs some serious management lessons. There was a problem with the credit card machine but instead of solving the problem and apologizing they put several customers on the spot. If you wanna have an all around lousy dining experience by all means come here. If you actually want to eat well and be treated well as a customer, THEN STAY AWAY.

Always come here for breakfast when in Miami. I love the breakfast food here. Portions are not insanely huge and everything that I have tried has been delicious. The desserts are beautiful and taste soooo good. I wish this location was a little nicer and not in a mall. I've also been to their South Beach location and enjoyed the food there. Will be returning when in Miami.

I've been there twice and had a good experience both times. The first time I went with my mother for lunch mid-week. I ordered an egg white omlet with tomatoes and onions and my mother ordered the tuna fish wrap. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the portions were perfect. We ordered the iced tea and I wasn't impressed with it, but that's very minor. The service was good, but it wasn't really busy so it would be hard to fail service-wise. I went with my husband that next Sunday for brunch. I had the same omlet, and my husband had a lox baguette with brie. I once again loved my omlet and my husband loved his baguette plus the pastries he ordered. We both ordered coffee and it was pretty good. They forgot to bring my husbands pastries and it took them quite awhile to bring them...he had to go to the counter once to remind them and ask a waitress again for them about 10 minutes later. They were very busy and I understand that it's easy to forget a minor thing like that when they are trying to serve many more guest with their meal. I gave them a 4 out of 5 only because I wish the service was a bit better on the weekend, but I'm understanding and it wouldn't prevent us from recommending it and going back again (weekday or weekend). Try it for yourself...everything looks delicious!

I always come here with my sister, her husband and my two nieces when I visit them in North Miami Beach. This place is exceptional. When you're here, you feel like that café in your hometown that when you walk in, they know you by name. The owners are a French couple and they are super friendly and take pride in their business. The staff is just an extension of them, very friendly. The food is always made to order and it is always fresh. I have been to this place over 15 times at least and I have always been impressed.
